Hi, my name is Ryan. Well, (laughs) I'm not a morning person, I'll admit that. So once I've had my coffee...I find that motivation slowly. I've only been alive for 25 years. I like to think that I still learn every day.
When I was a freshman in college I kind of had the persona, whether that be because of football, the success of the team was having I was seeing it as my success instead of the team's success. It's still something I have to work on. I still have confidence in what I do, but it's a fine line of being overconfident and not being confident enough. Going to grad school was definitely a turning point for that. Saying I really don't know a lot.
It's okay to be wrong and it's okay to fail, because sometimes you learn more from failure than you do from success. For me it's all about alright, well might as well give it a shot. I think everyone has those moments of, "Can I do this?" I still get those moments.
I guess it comes down to the overall goal of helping someone if they need it. Not leaving my mark in terms of I want to be known by everyone, but if the opportunity presents itself I can leave my mark whether that's on a big thing or a little thing like just saying hi to someone.
